Cagoga® is a therapeutic card-based tool designed to facilitate awareness, discussion, and reflection surrounding concussion-related experiences. The game is currently distributed to hospitals, schools, and libraries through donation programs, with the possibility of commercial availability in the future.
1. No Medical Advice
The content provided within the Cagoga® card game, its packaging, written materials, and associated website (collectively, the “Materials”) is for educational and therapeutic support purposes only.
Nothing contained in the Materials shall be construed as, nor is intended to be, a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or recovery process.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of content found in or associated with Cagoga®.
2. Not a Medical Device or Treatment Tool
Cagoga® is not classified as a medical device or clinical therapy product and has not been evaluated or approved by any medical regulatory authority. While many cards are informed by peer-reviewed research, the game is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any illness, injury, or condition.
Use of the game does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, or any other fiduciary relationship.
3. Sensitive Content
Please be advised that certain cards may reference concussion-related symptoms, trauma, cognitive strain, and emotional distress. These topics may be sensitive or triggering for some individuals. Users are encouraged to engage with the game in a safe and supported environment.
Supervision is recommended when the game is used with children or vulnerable individuals.
4. Safety Warning
Cagoga® contains small physical components, including cards and counters, which may present a choking hazard. The game is not recommended for children under the age of 3, and should be kept out of reach of small children when unsupervised.
5. International Use
Cagoga® is currently distributed internationally. Users outside the United Kingdom are advised to consult local regulations and health guidelines before using the product in institutional or therapeutic settings. Local legal and health standards may differ.
6. Copyright Notice
All content associated with Cagoga®—including but not limited to the card designs, written text, graphics, logos, packaging, and game materials—is the intellectual property of the creators and is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws. No part of the Cagoga® game or materials may be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the rights holders. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.
7. Fan Creations
We welcome and appreciate non-commercial fan art, personal reviews, and creative projects inspired by Cagoga®, provided they are clearly marked as unofficial and are not used for profit or commercial gain. Any such fan-made content must not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with the creators of Cagoga®, and must not reproduce large portions of original copyrighted material verbatim. We reserve the right to request removal of any fan content that misrepresents the brand or violates these terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither the creators of Cagoga®, its distributors, nor any associated partners or contributors shall be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use or misuse of the game or related materials.
Use of Cagoga® is voluntary and at the user’s own discretion and risk.
